Farm Events for 2018! 

We have planned an exciting year of events so we can share some of our favorite things with you.  We can't wait to see you here at the farm!

 Due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, event days and times are subject to change.  If you are signed up for any event we will keep you posted on any changes made.


January 12-13  Utah Farm Conference
  Cedar City, Utah

Laura is speaking!  Are We Saving Seeds or are Seeds Saving us?

February 24  Heirloom Seed Exchange and Plant Sale  10 to noon.  We love to promote saving and sharing seeds of open-pollinated (non-hybrid, non-GMO) seeds that have been grown and nurtured here in our area.  We have prepared many of our own seeds and will have them available to swap or to sell as well as many of our favorite seeds from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds.  We also will have many varieties of heirloom tomato, pepper and eggplant plants available for purchase, ready to be planted in your garden.  Please contact us if you would like to bring your own seeds/plants or farm/garden products to offer and display at our event.   Community welcome!

April 11-15 Clark County Fair & Rodeo   Logandale, NV (here in our valley)

April 21  QHF Spring Farm Breakfast  Come enjoy a lovely morning here at our farm and breakfast on us.  Featuring our famous flapjacks, farm fresh eggs, and organic ingredients.  Meet the animals, the crops, and our shareholders and friends.  We will have a couple of work projects if you would like to get your hands dirty while you are here.  Breakfast from 8 to 10am  Work project on-going through the day.   $10 per person,  Current Shareholders no charge.

May 6-7  Baker Creek Spring Festival   Mansfield, MO

May 19  Gourmet Picnic Dinner   We are "fired up" about this event!  We will be cooking up some of our favorite foods around our fire-pit and barbecue.  Featuring our own pasture based beef, pork,and chicken and organic ingredients, come enjoy a gourmet barbecue picnic to set the summer season off right. 
$50.00 per person.  Limited seating.  Community welcome.

June 2 
Herbs 101 Workshop 
  Participants will learn about growing, using and preserving culinary and medicinal herbs.  We will be drying herbs for teas, making tinctures and salve.  $30 per person.   Community welcome!

September 11-13  Heirloom Seed Expo and Pure Food Fair   Santa Rosa, CA

September 22  Star Light Pizza Dinner   Nothing beats a warm pizza fresh out of the wood-burning pizza oven with fresh, organic ingredients just picked within a few feet of your table. 
We will be dining in our kitchen garden with our bread/pizza oven glowing nearby.  Bring a date, we'll do the cooking!  Limited seating.  Community welcome.

October 26  Potluck, Pumpkins & Pigs 
   This is our favorite event of the year!  Bring your family and your favorite dish and come enjoy a lovely autumn evening here on the farm.  We will have a warm bonfire going with plenty of food and fun.  Pick the perfect pumpkin from our pumpkin patch to take home.  Current shareholders only.

December 8  Dickens Christmas Dinner 
  Come enjoy a classic, Victorian-style Christmas dinner featuring our own farm-raised Christmas goose.  This is a small, intimate dinner set up in our cozy farmhouse.  Dinner served at 5 pm.  Very limited seating.  Community welcome.
